Alert icon.
Displays important messages from system administrators. A numeric badge indicates how many alerts are unread. Click the Alerts icon in the Global Navigation Bar to view messages.
Bookmark icon.
Use bookmarks to save commonly accessed pages. Click the yellow star outline next to the page title to add it. A solid blue star indicates the page is bookmarked. View all bookmarks using the Bookmark icon in the Global Navigation Bar.

Calendar icon.
Appears next to date fields. Clicking the icon opens a calendar you can use to select a date by month, day, and year.
Close icon.
One way to exit a page or pop-up without leaving the system. Does not sign you out of COMPAS. Use the Sign Out option to end your session.
Configure/Magic Wheel icon.
Allows users to customize what they see in search filters or grid columns. You can add or remove fields to tailor the display. Custom views remain until manually changed or reset.
Export icon.
Found on pages with data grids, this tool lets users download records as a CSV file, which can be opened in a spreadsheet.
Heart icon. Use the heart icon to mark individual records from a picklist or search result. Favorites are saved and accessible through the Favorites list. The icon is an outline of a red heart until it is favorited. When selected as a favorite, it becomes a solid red heart.

Help icon. Opens CORE built-in help documentation in a pop-up. The content shown is specific to the page you're currently on.

Home icon. Clicking this icon anywhere in the system will bring users back to the main home page.

Horizontal 3dot Tab icon.
Found next to the tabs in a transaction. Opens a list of available tabs for easy navigation.
More Info icon.
Found next to the Transaction Phase on a transaction page. Displays additional context like the transaction's Function and Status.
Page Code icon.
Every page in CORE has a unique code. Selecting "Page Code" from the global search dropdown allows users to go directly to a page by entering its code.
Picklist icon.
Opens a list of valid options for a given field. Use this when you're required to select a predefined value, like Departments, Job Titles, or Event Types, etc.
Search icon.
Found in the Global Search Bar. Allows users to look up pages by name, keyword, or page code.
UnPin/Pin icon.
Keeps specific searches at the top of the Recent Searches list. Useful for saving frequently reused filters or criteria.
Vertical 3dot icon.
This versatile icon appears in various locations throughout CORE, and its functionality changes based on where it's found.
Page-Level Menu: When located in the top right corner of the page header, it provides actions related to the entire page or links to related pages.
Tab-Level Menu: When found in the top right corner of a selected tab, it contains actions specific to that active tab.
Record-Level Menu: When it appears at the end of a row within search results or grids, it provides actions specific to that individual record.
