Does CORE 4 still require a VPN or Zscaler connection?

The upgraded CORE doesn't need a VPN. Instead, it uses Dual Factor Authentication. This involves sending a code to your email address associated with your CORE profile.

You want to be aware that CORE uses "new browser windows" to display the following types of information: Online documentation and personalize window (Need to confirm if this is still valid). If you use a pop-up ad blocker program and the CORE "new browser windows" do not display, you will want to disable your pop-blocker while using CORE.

Is there a special browser I should be using to access CORE?

CORE is browser agnostic and users may use the browser of their choice. Java is required for accessing the CORE application.

If none of the above works, please contact core.help@state.co.us.

Why won't CORE load in Firefox?

Please uncheck OCSP by going to Firefox Settings > Privacy & Security > Certificates.

Will CORE use Dual Factor Authentication every time we log in?

Yes, when your session expires / times out, CORE4 will prompt you to enter a DFA code the next time you log in.

How do I fix an Error When Chrome Auto-Filling Saved Login Information to an Incorrect Field?

Users are having trouble with Chrome's autofill feature. It often puts saved usernames in the wrong spots. This includes the "name" field, the "search" field, or even a login for a different website. This results in frustration and potential security concerns.  To fix this, try clearing your saved password(s) in the browser. You can also update your browser settings. This lets you change how autofill works. For example, you can prioritize certain field labels. Another option is to use a different browser.  For additional information, please visit Google Chrome Support.
