Process
This Job Aid describes infinite query in infoAdvantage and the steps to resolve when reports run for an infinite amount of time without returning results, partial results, or an error message.
Some users report that infoAdvantage reports will run for an infinite amount of time without returning results, returning partial results, or returning an error message. If this occurs, try canceling the report, closing out the tab for the report window, and opening a new instance of the desired report.
1. After the report has run for more than 20 minutes without results, or you receive an error message, click Cancel on the retrieving data pop-up.
2. Close out the report by clicking on the drop down and select the X next to the report your would like to close.
3. Open a new instance of the report from your StateWide or Department folder.
4. Complete prompts and run the report again. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, please contact CORE Help Desk (core.help@state.co.us) with screenshots showing the report you are trying to run as well as the prompts you used.
