5 Common Errors When Scheduling Reports

This job aid describes steps on how to resolve 5 common errors when scheduling a report to run in infoAdvantage.
If you notice that your scheduled reports that were to be run have failed, you will want to see below the common errors you may experience and how to resolve them. To see why your scheduled infoAdvantage report failed, you will want to follow the steps below:
Open up infoAdvantage.
Go to Instances
Select failed from the Status dropdown
Click Go
Click on the “Failed” hyperlink under status.
The details screen will pop up where you will see the error message
Message: Could not open the file D:\advapp\AMSAPPS\BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\FileStore\Output\xxxx
This Error occurs when the output file for the reports is larger than the 25MB supported by Gmail.
Resolution:
Edit the prompts for your scheduled job so that the data and output file are smaller.
Run the report manually and export the data.
Message: deliverResultsToDestination failed
This error occurs for 2 reasons:
When scheduling the report, the user didn’t select email as the destination or didn’t use their email address in the “From” and “To” field
Resolution:
Modify the report schedule and change the Destination to email or add an email address to the “From” and “To” fields
2. The output file for the reports is larger than the 25MB supported by Gmail
Resolution:
Edit the prompts for your scheduled job so that the data and output file are smaller.
Run the report manually and export the data.
Message: no data to fetch ("XXX:": no given values)
This error occurs when the scheduled job is missing a required prompt.
Resolution:
Reschedule the report and review the prompt selection to ensure that any required prompt fields are populated.
Message: Object failed to run due to an error while processing on the Job Server.
This error occurs because of a system error during job processing.
Resolution:
Reschedule the job to “Run Now” and remove any events in the schedule. This is only needed if you need the results immediately, if not the report should run the next day of the schedule.
Message: Object could not be scheduled within the specified time interval.
This error occurs because of a system error during job processing.
Resolution:
Reschedule the job to “Run Now” and remove any events in the schedule. This is only needed if you need the results immediately, if not the report should run the next day of the schedule.
