What is ETL?

ETL stands for Extract, Transform, and Load, and is the process that runs every night that gathers the previous day's activities and adds them to the data warehouse. InfoAdvantage reports, in turn, pull information from the data warehouse. In other words, ETL is the process that prepares CORE data for reporting.

How often does ETL occur?

The Extract, Transform, and Load process occurs on a nightly basis, and is expected to complete by 6:30 a.m. every day. If ETL is delayed past 6:30 a.m., you will be notified that it is delayed.

What is the impact of an ETL delay?

When the Extract, Transform, and Load process is delayed, report data will be unavailable in InfoAdvantage until it has completed. You will be notified if ETL has not been completed by 6:30 a.m.
