Transaction Phases
Process
This step action guide provides definitions of the transaction phases in CORE along with visual aids documenting a document’s life cycle within CORE.
DRAFT
When a transaction has been entered into CORE, but is not yet affecting the system operations it is known to be in a Draft Phase. All transaction versions start with the Draft Phase allowing the user to freely edit and delete since currently are no application updates being applied.
When a CORE transaction is in draft phase, you will notice that the Edit, Validate, and Submit options are available at the bottom of the transaction. While in draft phase, this also allows the user to upload and delete attachments in a CORE document.
PENDING
Transactions that require approval will go into a pending phase after a document has been saved and validated without any errors. At this time, the transaction has been tentatively accepted subject to approval rules; funds are then reserved to assure final acceptance.
FINAL
A transaction is moved to Final phase once it has been fully accepted into CORE.
