Transaction Level Actions
Transaction Level Actions are performed on the entire transaction. Some of the transaction level actions can either be performed from within a transaction, from the workflow list, or from the Transaction Catalog. Actions that are frequently used are displayed on the Transaction 3 dot menu.
Copy - The Copy action is used to create a new transaction from an existing transaction for the same transaction code.
Copy Forward - The Copy Forward actions allows you to create a new transaction based on ta previous transaction in the referencing chain that has been finalized.
Close - The Close action closed the currently opened transaction. If there are any unsaved changes that have been made within the CORE transaction, the user will be prompted to save their changes before closing the transaction.
Discard - When discarding a transaction in CORE, a new cancellation transaction will be created if performed from a Final transaction or causes the transaction to be deleted from CORE if in Draft phase. When discarding the transaction, it has to be the most recent non-historical version of the transaction. If a new cancellation version results from the discard action, the transaction is then transitioned to the cancellation version in edit mode.
Edit - The action changes the mode of a transaction in the draft phase from read only to editable. If the transaction is in the Final phase, a new modification transaction version is created. If a new modification version results from the edit action , the CORE transaction is automatically transitioned to the new Modification version that was created in the edit mode.
