Error Message Table

This job aid describes how to locate an error message explanation in CORE.
There are times when validating and submitting a transaction, CORE will show an error or warning message. Resolve the error message before validating and submitting your transaction. If an error message in CORE prevents you from validating and submitting, you can use the Error Message Table. It explains errors and warning messages.
1. Log into CORE.
2. Enter MESG in the Global Search Bar.
3. Enter the error code in the Code field and select Search.
If you do not know the error code, you can use the Text field to search for the error. When using the Text field, you will need to perform a wildcard search (e.g. *invalid*). Enter your desired Subject in the Subject field.
4. Once your search results have populated, select the error message and View from the vertical 3-dot menu.
Look at the explanation of the error message.
You can also see the Severity and Override Level.
Some error codes may not display an explanation. Other error codes may provide the same explanation found in the text of the error message.
If the error message does not have an explanation listed in the explanation field, you can contact the CORE Support Center (core.help@state.co.us) for further assistance.
