Is there a way to tell if a draft transaction has been permanently deleted from CORE?
When a finalized transaction is canceled, a record of it can be located on the Transaction Catalog page.
However, discarded draft transactions cannot be located on this page. To locate a discarded draft transaction, it must be searched for on the Transaction Discard Log (DSCRDLOG) page.
The functionality on this page can only be used to view a log of these discarded transactions. The actual contents of these transactions cannot be retrieved.
For additional information, visit the FAQ: "Why can't I find the original transaction that I was working on in CORE? am I able to retrieve it again?
Where can I find a list of all of the transaction types in CORE and infoAdvantage?
You will want to enter DTYP in the Global search field in CORE to see a list of transaction types. There you will also see the transaction type name, category, and category name. (Note: You will need ALL_READ access to be able to see this. If you don't have ALL_READ access, you may enter DCTRL in the Global Search field instead).
To see what transaction types are in infoAdvantage, you can choose a report like GA-999 and refresh the list on the transaction code to get a full list of all the transaction types.
Where can I find a list of all Event Types in CORE?
You will want to enter ETYP in the Global Search field to look up and search for different event types.
What should I do if my transaction doesn't allow me to save the transaction name or description?
You will want to make sure that you're using a preferred browser to access CORE, clear your cache, close all browser windows, and try to save the transaction name and description again.
Do I have to validate and submit my cancellation draft?
Yes, you will want to validate and submit the transaction for approval.
Is there a way in CORE to see what fields were corrected and resubmitted on a transaction that was rejected?
There isn't a way to see changes made to a transaction. There is a Transaction History Query that allows you to see information on the history of a transaction, but only if it hasn't been resubmitted. If you need to know what information has been changed within the transaction, please speak directly to the individual who resubmitted the transaction, or ask that the individual to add a comment to the transaction documenting the changes made.
