Use a wildcard: * (Asterisk) to represent any or all characters at the beginning, middle, and/or end of the search criteria.
Example:
A* - Finds all A transactions that start with "A"
*A - Finds all transactions that end with "A"
*A* - Finds all transactions that contain "A"
Use Range Characters to limit results to values within a specific range.
Example:
Colon (:) - A specific range between two values (e.g. 01/01/2025:01/31/2025 returns transactions found the whole month of January 2025)
Greater than (>) - Values greater than the one entered. (e.g. >01/01/2025 returns transactions with dates after January 1, 2025)
Less than (<) - Values less than the one entered. (e.g. < 10/15/2025 returns transactions with dates before October 15, 2025)
Greater than or equal to (>=) - Value equal to and values greater than entered. (e.g. >= 10/15/2025 return transactions on October 15, 2025 and later)
Less than or equal to (<=) - Value and Values entered less than entered. (e.g. <=10/15/2025 returns dated October 15, 2025 and earlier)
How can I quickly look up a specific transaction in the search bar?
Enter the transaction code and the full transaction ID (or a partial ID with a wildcard) directly into the search bar and press Enter. CORE will automatically open the Transaction Catalog and run the search in one step.
Is "Transaction Catalog" same as "Document Catalog"?
Yes. The Transaction Catalog is like a filing cabinet. It serves as a repository for transactions created in CORE.

What are the icons on the Smart Menu?
Descriptions of icons (Left to Right):
View Attachments: Once an attachment has been added to any level of a transaction, you can view it on the Attachments Summary page. To get to this page, use the Smart Menu to select the View Attachments icon. If an attachment has been added to a transaction, the View Attachments icon will show the total count of attachments. The Attachments tab of the Attachments Summary page lists all attachments on the transaction (by transaction tab). You can view/download the attachments from the Attachments tab. You can view a history of all attachments on the History tab.
Add Comment: The Transaction Comments page can be accessed by selecting the Add Comment icon in the Smart Menu. If a comment exists for a transaction, a red circle appears above the Add Comment icon in the Smart Menu.
Additional Transaction Information: The Additional Transaction Information page can be accessed from the Smart Menu at any phase of a transaction. When this type of information exists for a transaction, the Additional Transaction Information icon on the Smart Menu includes a red circle at the top.
Collaboration: Collaboration is a function of CORE that uses automated rules to route transactions to specific people while they are still drafts. This allows others to review it before it gets submitted for approval. Colorado does not need to utilize this feature, as anyone is able to see a draft transaction and review it at any time to collaborate with peers prior to submitting for workflow approval. This feature is redundant based on our existing business processes.
Digital signature: A digital signature authenticates the final PDF version of a transaction. If an approver clicks "digital signature," the system will "sign" it. When a user makes a PDF of the transaction, it will include the digital signature of the approver. This isn't valid for Colorado, because we do not have PDF versions of all the transactions we use. The transaction approval time, level, and approving user ID is available in the worklist approval history as an audit log of the actions taken on the transaction.
Why am I getting a Password change pop-up when trying to open additional tabs after changing my Password?
We advise you to log out after changing your password. Then, log in again to prevent this.
