Process

This job aid describes steps to establish Funding Profiles to define Funding Sources for a Reimbursable Project.

1. Enter FPRFLST in the Global Search field.

2. Select Create to Add Funding Profile .

3. Complete the General Information tab.

a. Select a Department from the pick list

b. Enter a unique Funding Profile code.

c. Enter an applicable Funding Profile Name.

d. Verify that the Active checkbox is checked.

e. Verify that the Budgeting checkbox is checked.

4. Complete the Reimbursement Options tab.

a. Verify that the Reimb Eligible checkbox is checked.

b. Select Reimb Status: Allowed for Reimbursement.

c. Select Save

5. Create a Funding Priority for the first Funding Profile.

a. Select Insert on the General Information tab.

b. Select a Funding Priority number.

c. Verify that the Reimb Eligible is Yes

d. Select Reimb Status: Allowed for Reimbursement.

e. Select Save.

6. Create two Funding Lines to record the funding sources for the Funding Priority.

a. Select Insert to create the first Funding Line.

7. Complete the Reimbursement Options tab.

a. Enter a Unit value.

b. Select a valid internal Customer ID

c. Select Billing Profile: COSTB

d. Select Reimbursement Output Type: Internal Sale

e. Select a Reimbursement Frequency

f. Verify Reimbursement Eligible is checked. 

g. Verify Reimbursement %.

h. Verify Max Reimbursement Amount.

i. Verify CMIA Method: None, unless there are CMIA regulations dictated from the grant award.

8. Complete the Reimbursement tab.

a. Select the correct Revenue Source Code.

b. Select Save.

9. Complete the Front-End Split tab.

a. Select Fund.

b. Enter an Appropriation Unit.

c. Select Save. Then create a second funding line.

10. Select the Funding Line tab to create a second Funding Line for the Funding Priority

a. Select Insert to create Funding Line.

11. Complete the Reimbursement Options tab.

a. Select None from the Reimbursement Output Type list.

b. Select None from the Reimbursement Frequency list.

c. Verify Reimbursement Status: Allowed for Reimbursement.

d. Enter reimbursement eligible costs percentage in the Reimb % field.

e. Enter Max Reimbursement Amount.

f. Select CMIA Method: None.

12. Complete the Front-End Split tab.

a. Select Fund.

b. Enter an Appropriation Unit.

c. Select Save

13. Create the internal buyer funding line for funding line 1.

a. Highlight the first Funding Line.

b. Select the Internal Buyer Funding Line tab.

c. Select Insert.

d. Enter Buyer %

e. Select Save.

14. Select Expense COA tab

a. Enter Fund

b. Enter Expense Department

c. Enter other COA information if applicable

d. Save the funding profile
