Creating an Employee Receivable (RE2)
Process
This job aid describes steps on how to create an Employee Receivable (RE2) Transaction.
1. Enter RE2 in the Global Search field and select Receivable.
2. On the Financial Transaction page:
Select Create located in upper right on screen.
Then on the Create Transaction page:
Enter Code.
Enter Transaction Dept.
Enter Transaction Unit.
Check Auto Numbering checkbox.
Select Continue.
3. In the General Information tab in the Vendor section, expand caret on dark line to show more fields.
Select Vendor Customer picklist icon (opens Vendor Customer List).
Enter the employee’s id number (997 number) using a wildcard (*) in the Vendor/Customer field and employee's legal name using the Legal Name Field.
Select Search.
Select the link beside the returned employee’s name.
Click OK
Select Address Code pick list icon (opens Address List).
Select the Select link beside appropriate billing address.
Select OK.
Back on the Vendor tab, General Information subtab section
Enter the Billing Profile Code, AR Dept, and AR Unit.
4. In the Accounting section:
Select Insert New Line.
Expand caret to show more fields
Select General Information subtab
Enter Event Type and amount in the Line Amount field.
Select Save.
Select COA subtab:
a. Enter Fund, Object, Department, and Unit.
b. Select Save.
6. Select Validate and Submit
