Creating an Accrued Receivable (ARE)
Process
This job aid describes steps on how to create an Accrued Receivable (ARE) Transaction.
1. Select the Transaction Catalog widget on the main page.
2. On the Transaction Catalog page.
Select Create.
Enter Transaction Code: ARE.
Enter Transaction Dept.
Enter Transaction Unit.
Check Auto Numbering checkbox.
Select Continue.
3. In the Vendor tab, in the General Information subtab,
Select the Vendor Customer picklist icon.
Select Vendor Customer pick list icon (opens Vendor Customer List).
Enter Vendor Customer number or Legal Name (use * as wild card).
Select Search.
Select the Select link beside appropriate customer name.
Select OK
Enter AR Dept.
Enter AR Unit.
Select Save.
4. In the General Information subtab in the Accounting tab,
Select Insert New Line (+).
Enter amount in the Line Amount field.
In the General Information subtab,
Enter the Event Type.
Select Save.
5. In the COA subtab in the Accounting tab.
Enter Fund.
Enter Revenue.
Enter Department.
Enter Unit.
Select Save.
6. Select Validate and Submit.
7. Select Close.
