What security role do I need to be able to set up a CACT record?
You will need the role D_AR_TBLMAINT assigned to you on your UDOC.
If both the Billing Profile and Customer flag on the VCUST record are active, what fields on the CACT table am I able to complete to tie a VCUST record to a billing profile?
You will be able to fill out the Customer, Address ID, Billing Profile, Department, Unit, and Billing Location fields under the General Information tab.
Is the Billing Location required on all CACT Table Set-ups?
The Billing Location is only required on some, but not all, CACT table setups. If the billing profile is is set up for no billing then the billing location can be blank. If it's set up any other way, then it is required.
Once a CACT is setup, how long am I able to use it?
Once a CACT is setup it can be used indefinitely with no further adjustments.
How do I Request a Billing Profile to be Created or Updated on the BPRO Table?
To create or modify a Billing Profile on the BPRO table, the agency will need to email the CORE Help Desk at core.help@state.co.us and provide the following information:
Dept code
Unit code
Billing profile code - preference of code up to 5 digits
The desired name of the Billing Profile
Whether the billing profile will be used for Invoicing, Cost Accounting, or both
Whether the profile will be used to generate statements, and the frequency and timing of those statements
Billing Instruction to be used
Agency contact information to be used on generated documents
Any other optional information to be specified.
