Where can I locate available CORE Training?
CORE Training is available on the CORE website. There are three formats of available training:
Online Training
The Learning Experience Platform (LXP) houses CORE training, such as General Overview Training. All active CORE users are automatically uploaded into the LXP.
Job Aids
For each specific topic area of CORE, you will find the following supplemental training resources:
An Overview describes the specific area within CORE, and key functions associated with that area.
Policies and Procedures drive which actions need to take place for each specific area of CORE.
Step Action Tables provide guided learning activities from classroom training.
Job Aids include detailed instructions and/or screenshots that provide you with a step-by-step guide in performing a specific task.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
For each specific area of CORE, you can find answers to frequently asked questions for that topic.
Type "CORE" in the LXP search bar and select the "CORE Team" to view available training.
You can also search using topic abbreviations like "CA" for Cost Accounting to find relevant courses.

What if my agency doesn’t use LXP?
No problem! You can still access CORE training on YouTube via the Training webpage.
You can also access training via Advantage Assistant.

Do I have to register for the State Learning Management System (LMS) in order to complete online CORE Training?
No, all CORE users will be automatically added to the State Learning Management System (LMS). If do not have access credentials, please reach out to core.training@state.co.us for assistance.
What is the difference between a webinar and online training?
Webinars will give a snap of an overview of a particular area, and will not go in-depth. Online training courses is more of a deeper dive and will go more in-depth on the topic of interest.
