Creating a New Major Program Record for a Reimbursable Project
Process
This job aid describes steps for creating a new Major Program Record for a Reimbursable Project.
1. Enter MJPRG in the Global Search field
2. Select Create to create a new line for the new record
3. Complete the General Information tab
Select a Department from the pick list
Enter a unique Major Program Code
Enter an applicable Name
Enter an applicable Short Name
Expand the show more caret
Verify that the Active checkbox is checked
Verify that the Budgeting checkbox is checked
4. Complete the General Options tab
Select Reimb Status: Allowed for Reimbursement
Select Reimb Budget: 40 Reimbursable Budget
Select Reporting Basis: Prohibited
Select Split Type: Front End Split (FES)
Select Federal Appropriate Setup: Funding Line
Select a Drawdown Group from the pick list if one exists for this Major Program
5. Complete the Rollups tab.
Select the Major Program Class that is appropriate based on CA.PO.06 from the pick list
Select the Major Program Category that is appropriate based on CA.PO.06 from the pick list
Select the Major Program Group that is associated with the Major Program from the pick list if applicable
Select the Major Program Type that is associated with the Major Program from the pick list if applicable
6. Select Save
