What is the purpose of the CI Crosswalk?
The goal is to create a comprehensive crosswalk showing which fields are available on pages in CORE (and, secondarily, in the database tables) compared with the fields available in the corresponding business views. This helps users understand data availability and alignment across sources, specifically to aid in the user creation of Configurable Inquiry reports.
Users often need to determine where specific data lives and how it maps across pages in CORE, backend tables, and business views, so that they know which data they use in day-to-day business that they want to report on. The crosswalk streamlines this analysis and makes the mapping process faster, clearer, and repeatable for building data points into CI reports.
Where can I find the new CI Crosswalk report?
A new folder called “Utilities” has been added under RPRTLST. The CI Crosswalk analytic report resides there. You can also find it under RPRTALL by searching for "CI Crosswalk".
