Code   Budget Object Where it is used

E Expense will prepopulate on the Expense tab when an  expense object is used

R Revenue will prepopulate on the Revenue tab when a revenue object is used

S Statistical will prepopulate on the Expense tab when  the object ‘FTE’ is used
