Home > Labor Allocation > Job Aids > Create a Labor Distribution Profile (LDPR) - CLEAR Accounts
Reference this Create a Labor Distribution Profile (LDPR) - CLEAR Accounts job aid to create a Labor Distribution Profile (LDPR) for CLEAR Accounts, which are replacing the previously used accounting templates and accounting profiles in CPPS. LDPRs can be applied at the position level for default accounting and/or on a timesheet level for activity- or project-based accounting.
Before you begin, make sure:
You have the chart of account elements for the specific position or activity.
The home department and home unit need to match the PSMT (position).
Important Information:
CLEAR Accounts are replacing the old Dump and Clearing accounting templates. In the UKG timekeeping system, employees should now select these new CLEAR Accounts (which match the accounting templates used in CORE Payroll) to allocate their time.
A CLEAR LDPR is a specific type of Labor Distribution Profile assigned to an agency for the purpose of capturing and holding temporary financial data that cannot be immediately allocated to a permanent account. Each agency is required to establish and maintain one CLEAR LDPR for each home department in their cabinet. For more information, view the CLEAR Accounts Resource sheet.
Each agency is required to establish and maintain one CLEAR LDPR from each home department in their cabinet.
When creating CLEAR LDPRs, agencies should use the designated default coding scheme to standardize the temporary holding structure.
CLEAR Accounts should be reviewed and zeroed out regularly.
Transactions may go to a CLEAR account when:
An LDPR has expired.
Chart of Accounts (COA) elements were updated in CORE Financial but not in the LDPR.
A timesheet receives an invalid, inactive, incorrect, or incomplete LDPR.
An employee is retroactively assigned to a project but an LDPR was not established for that period.
