This job aid describes the inventory sales processes for creating a Stock Request (SRQ) in CORE. Creating a Stock Request (SRQ) transaction is considered an indirect stock issue in CORE
1. Enter SRQ in the Global Navigation Field.
2. Enter Transaction code, department, and/or unit.
3. Select Create.
4. Select Auto Numbering.
5. Select Continue.
6. On the Header tab, Enter Transaction Information:
Transaction Name
Transaction Description
Warehouse
Requesting Unit
Issuer ID.
7. Scroll down to Shipping and enter:
Shipping Location
Delivery Date
8. Click Save
9. Navigate to the Accounting Distribution tab.
10. Select "+" to insert a new line
11. Enter the Distribution %
12. Click the carat to expand the line item
13. Enter a Accounting Template if you are using one. Otherwise, skip to step 14.
14. Click COA and enter required fields
15. Select Save
NOTE: A new 'Commodity Group' tab will now appear when creating SRQ transactions. SKIP the 'Commodity Group' tab.
A default placeholder line will be automatically inserted under this tab. Do not modify or delete the default line. (There are no changes to the SRQ creation steps)
IMPORTANT: If you delete the default line under the Commodity Group tab, all Commodity lines will be deleted from the SRQ. Please be cautious and avoid removing this line unless you intend to clear the entire transaction.
16. Navigate to the Commodity tab.
17. Click "+" to insert a new line.
18. Click the carat to expand the line item and enter:
Stock Item
Stock Item Suffix (if applicable)
Requested Quantity.
19. Click Save.
20. Navigate back to the Accounting Distribution tab
21. Click Distribute Accounting
22. Click Save.
23. Click Validate.
24. Click Submit.
