Creating a PIck and Issue (PI) Transaction

Process

This job aid describes the indirect stock issue process to create Pick and Issue (PI) Transaction.

If copying forward a Stock Request (SRQ) transaction to create a Pick and Issue (PI) transaction, complete Steps 3 - 5. If creating a stand-alone Pick and Issue (PI) transaction, complete Step 6.

Copy forward Stock Request (SRQ) transaction to create Pick and Issue (PI) transaction.

1. Find and select Stock Request (SRQ) transaction to copy forward.

a. Enter SRQ in the Jump to field and click Go.

b. Enter Transaction Code, Department, and/or Unit.

c. Select Search.

d. Click the Transaction ID link to open the SRQ transaction.

2. Select Copy Forward.

3. In the Target Transaction section, enter identifying information: Transaction ID, Transaction Code, and/or Unit code.

a. Select Auto Numbering.

b. Select Pick and Issue (PI) transaction from the Target Transaction Type grid.

i. Target Transaction Type = PI

ii. Target Transaction Code = PI

c. Select Ok.

4. On the PI header 

a. Use the 3 dot menu to Load Pick Plan

b. Enter the pick date.

c. Validate and submit the PI.

Create stand-alone Pick and Issue (PI) Transaction.

5. Enter PI in the Jump to field and click Go.

6. Enter Transaction Identifier Information:

a. Transaction Code, Department, and/or Unit.

b. Select Create.

c. Select Auto Numbering.

d. Select Continue.

7. Enter Transaction Information - General Information tab.

a. Enter Pick Date.

b. Enter Pick and Issue Function.

i. Select the option needed from the drop-down menu.

c. Selection Option.

i. If All Stock Requisition Transaction is selected, there are no required fields.

ii. If Specific Stock Requisition is selected, Required Code, Request Dept, and Request ID are required fields.

iii. If Special Delivery Date is selected, a Special Delivery Date is a required field. Required Code, Request Dept, and Request ID are not active if Special Delivery Date is selected.

8. In the Target Transaction section, enter identifying information: Transaction ID, Transaction Code, and/or Unit code.

a. Select Auto Numbering.

b. Select Pick and Issue (PI) transaction from the Target Transaction Type grid.

i. Target Transaction Type = PI

ii. Target Transaction Code = PI

c. Select Ok.

d. On the PI header section, use the 3 dot menu to Load Pick Plan

e. validate and submit the PI.

9. Select Validate.

10. Select Submit.

11. Choose Print Pick Plan from the 3 Dot Menu

12. Select Forms from the 3 dot menu

13. On the View Form page, select from the 3 dot menu again to view and print the PDF form.
