Creating a new version of a Solicitation that contains a “Close Date” that is the same as the current date will final close the document in CORE, however, the close date will not be reflected in ColoradoVSS. Instead, the previous close date will be left in place. When an attempt is made to alter the date in CORE, so that the Solicitation can be canceled, the following error will be returned:

If you need to take a Solicitation out of an “Open” status, cancel the Solicitation, then issue a new Solicitation (with reference to the previous Solicitation).
