What are the Wild Card Search Examples that I can use in CORE?

Provided below are the applicable wildcard characters that can be used to search within CORE.

    • Asterisk (*)

      • Example: 2019*12345

      • When searching Doc IDs, all documents that have 2019*12345 will be returned.

    • Colon (:)

      • Example: 6/1/2018 : 7/31/2018

      • By entering a colon in the Create Date field on the Document Catalog to view all documents created on or after 6/1/2018 and on or before 7/31/2018.

    • Greater than Sign (>)

      • Example: >8/1/2015

      • When entering the greater than sign in the Create Date field on the Document Catalog to view all documents created after August 1, 2015.

    • Greater than or Equal to Sign (>=)

      • Example: >=2/1/2016

      • By entering the greater than or equal to sign in the Create Date field on the Document Catalog to view all documents created on or after February 1, 2016.

    • Less than Sign (<)

      • Example: <200

      • If you were to enter this in the Fund field on the Fund table to view all funds that are less than 200.

    • Less than Equal to Sign (<=)

      • If you were to enter <=1000 in the Available Cash Balance search field on the Cash Balance table to view all funds that have an available cash balance less than $1000.00.
