How do I resolve the "error occurred while performing workflow action" error that I received when trying to approve a UDOC?

If you have been able to approve UDOCs in the past, and then receive the "error occurred while performing workflow action" message when trying to approve a UDOC, you will want to check the precedence for the Security roles that were used on the most recent UDOC (preceding the UDOC you are attempting to approve).  The precedence must be consistent and cannot be changed when modifying a UDOC. If you’re adding additional security roles to the UDOC, you will want to continue in numerical order.  See example below:
