Why is my report running so long, not returning results, or returning an error?

If your report is running for a long time (reports should run no longer than 20 minutes) without returning results, returning partial reports, or returning an error message, try canceling the report, closing out of the tab for the report window, and try opening a new instance of the report. Refer to the Resolving Infinite Query Job Aid for instructions.

You may want to limit your infoAdvantage report to a smaller data set (i.e., limit to one Department, Accounting Period, etc.).

Note: If you are a report developer and are working on a custom report. You may receive an error message the first time you try running your query. If this occurs try closing the error message, save your report, and try running the report again.
