• System Performance: 
    • There are intermittent performance issues with infoAdvantage. This will cause infoAdvantage to periodically be unavailable for ~30 minutes at a time, as we take the system offline for maintenance. In those instances, an all user communication will be distributed.
  • UDOC Processing:
    • In order to process UDOCs, as a security administrator, you will want to:
      • Leave the Standard Reporting User box unchecked (on the Account Options tab)
      • Enter comments on the UDOC if you do not want the user to have infoAdvantage access.
  • Document Errors:
    • Some documents are displaying a "There are errors" message when there aren't actually any errors on the documents. We are researching to resolve this issue.
  • PO Forms:
    • Ship-to/Bill-to/Shipping Information is showing up on each commodity line instead of at the top of the form which is making the form larger.
    • Billing/Shipping/Delivery information is being included on commodity lines.
  • InfoAdvantage:
    • If, when accessing infoAdvantage from CORE, infoAdvantage is asking you to change your password, try entering your CORE User ID as your old password, then enter your new password (your new password must be 6 characters). NOTE: DO NOT ENTER YOUR USER ID IN THE USER ID FIELD.


  • Connectivity:
    • VSS:
      • VSS continues to experience intermittent connectivity issues for our vendors. Resolved.
    • CORE:
      • If you have not received the new URLs/websites for CORE, please contact the CORE Help Desk at (You will also want to check your spam/junk email).
      • Resolved:
        • Colorado Department of Transportation: The CDOT connectivity issue has been resolved.
        • Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind: The connectivity issue at your location has been resolved.
  • Forms:
      • PO Forms:
        • Resolved: 
          • The description on commodity line items are now mapped from the CL description field, not from the Commodity Description field.
          • The Unit Cost field can now accommodate at least 6 digits to the right of the decimal place.
          • The date in the form header has been updated to properly reflect the Record Date.
          • QTY field now displays entries with fractions (ex: 100.50) unless the value entered is a whole number, in which case only the whole number is displayed (ex: 100).
          • CTGG1 or POGG1 documents with ID values containing 20 digits (ex: 20180000000000000892) are now fully visible on a PO form.
          • The following fields are now hidden when they don't contain any information:
            • Contract Effective/End Date (Header)
            • Extended Description (Commodity Line)
            • Service To/From (Commodity Line)
            • Shipping Instructions (Commodity Line/Free Text Field)
            • Bill to/Ship to Address Line 2 (Commodity Line)
      • PI Forms:
        • The issues with PI forms have been resolved.

NIST Overview

On April 1, 2018, CORE Financial and infoAdvantage underwent an upgrade in order to ensure compliance with applicable security policies of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

How does this impact you?

The CORE NIST upgrade has the following impacts:

  • CORE Financial Users: There will be no change to the functionality of CORE Financial on April 1, 2018.

  • infoAdvantage Report Users:

    • There will be slight changes to the infoAdvantage interface and how you run reports starting on April 1, 2018. 
    • If you currently have any reports scheduled, you will want to create a new schedule for those reports after go-live on April 1, 2018. For instructions on how to schedule a report, click here.
      • The inbox feature will no longer be available as of April 1, 2018.
  • Zscaler Users: There will be no change in how you connect to CORE on April 1, 2018, other than the website link (URL) changes (see below) or any changes to CORE Financial, however, there will be slight changes to the infoAdvantage interface and how you run reports starting on April 1, 2018. (You will want to add the new CORE URL to your Trusted Sites).

  • Website Link (URL) Changes: The links for CORE Financial, infoAdvantage, PB, and Vendor Self-Service (VSS) will be changing as of April 1, 2018. However, for a period of time post go-live, the current links will contain information, and a link, for you to navigate to the new links. If you have any of the current links bookmarked, you will want to update your bookmarks on April 1, 2018.
